According to a family representative, Lisa Marie Presley will be laid to rest at Graceland, the Presley family’s Tennessee residence, close to her father and late son.
The 54-year-old singer passed away on Thursday after apparently going into cardiac arrest at home.
She was the sole child of Elvis Presley, the “King of Rock ‘n’ Roll.”
According to a spokeswoman for her daughter, “Lisa Marie’s last resting place will be in Graceland, close to her adored son, Ben.”
Benjamin Keough, Presley’s son, committed suicide in August 2020 at the age of 27.
Presley published an essay she penned for People Magazine about her experience with grief following the death of her baby in one of her last social media posts.
“Since I was nine years old, I have dealt with death, grief, and loss. I’ve experienced more than my fair share of it throughout my life, yet yet I’ve managed to get this far “She composed. “Whether we like it or not, death and sorrow are inevitable parts of life.”
Her mother, Priscilla, and her three kids, Riley Keough, an actress, and twins Finley and Harper Lockwood, survive her.
